Monnit wireless temperature sensors use a thermistor to accurately measure temperatures. These sensors are perfect for monitoring ambient temperatures around the sensors physical location. User customization allows you to set the frequency of readings and the ability to set thresholds for alerts via SMS text and/or email.
NIST certified product is available on leaded temperature sensors (select a lead length in order to see available certifications).
Monnit wireless humidity sensors allow you to monitor the relative humidity of the air within a room or enclosure. Ideal for monitoring humidity within greenhouses, industrial spaces, museums, saunas and humidors. They can also be used for residential applications such as controlling mold, mildew or dust mites.
Monnit wireless water sensors alert you via SMS text and/or email when there is water detected, preventing potential property damage that results from flooding or leaks. Place this sensor anywhere flooding or faulty plumbing could cause a problem. This sensor can also be used to detect a lack of water, allowing you to know when a container is nearing empty.
Monnit wireless open/closed sensors provide information on the status of doors, windows, cabinets, etc. Know if a building or area is being accessed when it should not be, or if a door or window has been left open. Alerts can be setup to notify a user by SMS text, email or voice call if a door or window has been opened or left open.
Monnit wireless dry contact sensors can be used to detect contact between two wired contact points. This sensor can be used with an external mechanical switch or a contact plate to alert the user via SMS text and/or email when the contacts touch or a switch is triggered.
Monnit wireless accelerometers can be used in a host of applications where knowing impact, vibration, inclination, etc. is required.
The wireless accelerometer - tilt sensor activates at a set time interval (defined by user) and converts accelerometer measurements to pitch and roll (0 to 180° -> -180° to 0°). The data is displayed in degrees with 0.1° of resolution.
Monnit wireless voltage meters are capable of measuring the voltage off another device, battery, or sensor. Monnit wireless voltage meters are available to measure different voltage ranges up to 500 V by connecting the leads on the sensor to the positive and ground terminals of the device being measured.
Monnit wireless AC Current Meters measure the RMS current of an alternating current (AC) system using a current transformer (CT) that wraps around the "hot" wire of a two wire (hot, common, ground(optional)) power system. The sensor reports Minimum RMS current, maximum RMS current, average RMS current, and amp hours to the iMonnit system. The iMonnit system is capable of generating watt hour or kilowatt hour readings as well.
The Monnit Voltage Detector - 50 VDC detects the presence or absence of electricity. It is intended for use on battery or other DC sources, up to 50 Volts. Not intended for use with AC Voltages. It is perfect for batteries, adapters, solar equipment, vehicles or machinery, and any other electrical appliance monitoring. The sensor triggers on voltage presence to voltage Absence and vice versa. The data is displayed as "Voltage Detected" or "No Voltage".
The Monnit Wireless Resistance Sensor outputs the resistance across a load. It is programmed to sleep for a user-given time interval (heartbeat) and then wakeup, send power to the load resistor, wait for it to stabilize, and convert the analog data, mathematically compute the resistance and transmit the data to the gateway, where it is then logged into a cloud service. The user can configure defined thresholds and have the system alert on threshold breaches. Data is recorded in Ohms.
The Wireless 0-1 mA DC Current Meter is designed to work with the Flex-Core MCT5 current transducer that converts 5 Amps AC into a DC signal up to 1 mA. (Additionally a current transformer (CT) can be used to interface the MCT5 to higher amperage systems.)
Monnit wireless light detection sensors can be used to detect whether light is present or not. The sensors can be user calibrated for baselines of light and dark, and will provide a status of light presence based on those baselines. Alerts can then be setup for when light has been detected or when there is no light detected.
Monnit wireless pressure meters measure pressure from a 5 volt pressure transducer and transmits the pressure measurement to iMonnit. By connecting the Monnit wireless pressure sensor to a pressurized gas, liquid or vapor supply line, it can measure the pressure within the line and send data to the iMonnit Online Sensor Monitoring and Notification System. The data is stored in the online system and can be reviewed and exported as a data sheet or graph. User customization allows you to set notifications and alerts from the system so you can know immediately if pressure is above or below an optimal range.
Monnit wireless magnet detection sensors can be used to detect the presence of a magnetic source. Place a magnet strip on a production line to measure movement and placement. Alerts can be setup to notify a user by SMS text, email or voice call if the magnet is present or not.
The wireless asset sensor can be attached to an asset or object and outputs an RF signal at set intervals to be received by the gateway and monitoring system. The sensor can be used to determine if an asset is removed from the premises and send notifications via SMS text, email or voice call to alert the user.
Monnit wireless activity detection sensors can be used in a host of applications where detecting vibration, or sudden movement etc. is required. This version of the activity sensor detects sudden movement or non-movement of a given device or surface, and alerts you of the change.
Monnit wireless seat occupancy sensors use a stress plate with an integrated flexible, stress sensitive ribbon to accurately measure when (force) is applied to the plate. Perfect for monitoring seats for occupancy. User customization allows you to set the frequency of readings and the ability to set thresholds notifications or alerts from the iMonnit online sensor monitoring system.
Monnit wireless grains per pound sensors measure the mass in grains of H2O in otherwise dry air. Put simplistically, the measurement is the weight of water in air. This sensor uses a calibrated humidity sensor to obtain the absolute humidity at the current temperature and converts that value into the Grains per Pound measurement displayed. User customization allows you to set the frequency of readings and the ability to set conditions for alerts by SMS text, email or voice call.
Monnit wireless compass sensors use a highly sensitive 3 axis digital compass to return the orientation of the device in regards to magnetic north. Great for tracking directional behavior and positioning. User customization allows you to set alerts via SMS text or email if criteria are met or exceeded.
