Deactivating Rule Alerts in iMonnit

Deactivation of Rules can be necessary for a number of reasons. This article will walk you through how to disable Rules and deactivate an email/SMS/phone notification.

Deactivating a Rule

  • Log into
  • Select Rules in the main navigation menu.

All of the Rules on your account will display on the page.
A green dot on the action means that notification is active.
Action Active

  • Select the green dot of the Rule you wish to disable. It should shift to a light-grey background.
    Action Disabled
  • The Rule has been deactivated. Selecting the icon again will turn it green to reactivate it.

Deactivate Email and/or Phone in Event Notification

  • Log into
  • Select the Rules option in the main navigation menu.
  • Select the card of the Rule for which you wish to disable alerts.
  • Select the Tasks tab.
  • Select which delivery method you want to edit (E-mail, Text or Voice Call)
  • Select the “+” icon on the “To:” field

  • Find the People on the Select Contacts section that will pop up. This section will list all users on the account. iMonnit sends notifications to you in any of the following three ways: Email, SMS, and Voice. They can each be set and deactivated the same way.
  • To deactivate, select the contact.
  • A box will pop up with “No Delay” selected by default. Scroll up to select “Off” then choose the set button.

  • The icon will shift to gray, indicating that it has been deactivated.
