Return Policy


Acceptance & Returns

Shipments are deemed to have been accepted by the buyer upon receipt of shipment. All shipping discrepancies must be reported to Monnit Corp within three (3) business days of receipt of shipment.

Restocking Fee

Returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee of the invoiced amount (excluding taxes, duties, and shipping) or a minimum of $25.00, whichever is greater.

Refunds or Credit

To qualify for a refund or credit (excluding shipping, duties and taxes) buyer must contact Monnit in writing (via e-mail or post) within 30 days for a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA). Requests for an RMA after 30 days will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis and subject to management approval.

Warranty Work

Requests for any warranty work or product exchanges require an RMA. Please contact your technical support or your sales representative regarding the issue prior to sending anything in for repair.

Standard Warranty Coverage: Monnit-branded products are covered under warranty for defects in materials and workmanship for one (1) year from the date of shipment. Software and firmware are warranted to materially conform to published specifications for one (1) year.

Post-Warranty Repair Services: After the one-year warranty period expires, Monnit may offer fee-based repair services at its discretion. Post-warranty repairs are subject to the following conditions:

  • Repair fees are determined by the type and extent of work required. Contact your technical support or sales representative for cost estimates. Payment required in advance.
  • A repair limit applies to one post-warranty repair per product during its lifetime.
  • The post-repair warranty is that products repaired under a post-warranty service are warranted against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of ninety (90) days from the date of completion of repair work
  • Any failure after the 90-day post-repair warranty period requires purchase of a new product.
  • Custom products, customized products, modifications to standard products, and customer-altered products are not eligible for post-warranty repair services.

Modified Product

All product returns must comply with Monnit's RMA policies. Custom products, customized products, modifications to standard products, and products altered by the customer are not eligible for return. All returns must be shipped (at buyer's expense) to Monnit's distribution center in Utah as provided in the RMA policies provided by Monnit. There is no refund on shipping and handling charges.

Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) Policy
  • Unused product must be in its original packaging.
  • Product must be returned via a shipper that provides buyer with a shipment tracking number (i.e. FedEx, UPS, DHL).
  • A valid RMA number must accompany the return and be visible on the outside of the returned package. Returns without an RMA number will be rejected and returned at buyer's expense.
  • Product being returned within the initial 30-day period for refund or credit must be complete. Failure to return all product will result in a partial refund or credit.
