Project Elf: Delivering On Wish Lists for Children and Young Adults in Need
At Monnit, the holiday season is about more than celebrations—it's about connection, generosity, and giving back to the community. In 2025, Monnit employees once again proudly participated in Project Elf, a beloved holiday initiative hosted by The Christmas Box International. The program helps brighten Christmas morning for children, teens, and young adults in need.
Each December, Monnit's lobby transforms into a symbol of holiday hope. Our Christmas tree is decorated with Project Elf ornaments, each displaying a gift wish from youth served by The Christmas Box International. Employees select an ornament, shop thoughtfully, and return with gifts that soon fill the space beneath the tree. Watching the gifts accumulate throughout the month is a powerful reminder of the collective impact our team can make together.
Project Elf has become a meaningful annual tradition at Monnit. Beyond our annual Christmas party, participating in this program is one of the highlights of the season. Employees put care into every present—choosing toys that inspire joy, books that spark imagination, clothing that builds confidence, and gift cards that provide flexibility and dignity to teens and young adults.
"What makes Project Elf so special is the heart our employees bring to it every year," said Monnit Founder and CEO Brad Walters. "Seeing our team rally together to support children, teens, and young adults through The Christmas Box International reminds me how powerful compassion can be. These moments reflect who we are at Monnit and the values we strive to live by."
The experience also brings employees together. From conversations about gift ideas to the shared excitement of placing presents under our tree, Project Elf fosters camaraderie and fulfillment throughout the office. The joy isn't just in giving—it's in knowing those gifts will help create cherished holiday memories for youth who deserve a Christmas filled with care and comfort.
We extend our sincere gratitude to Office Manager Cindy Power and Business Administrator Vanessa Register, whose coordination and dedication help make Project Elf a success each year.
