Summary/Objective

Monnit, the global IoT industry leader in remote monitoring solutions, is looking for a highly motivated, top performing, driven individual to manage Monnit’s growing sales team as the Director of Sales. The Director of Sales will mentor Monnit’s sales representatives to build a cohesive, collaborative, and successful team and will be responsible for motivating and managing the team to achieve both individual and team goals.


Job Responsibilitie
  • Manage and lead teams to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales quotas and goals by:
    • Conducting regular weekly meetings to ensure execution of sales responsibilities.
    • Monitoring CRM metrics and activity.
    • Conducting pipeline meetings with teams.
    • Working with accounts both large and small.
    • Defining and teaching proper lead qualification and send leads to appropriate team members.
    • Establishing and understand the metrics by which teams will be monitored and measured by, and educate them on the metrics.
    • Setting quotas and goals with team members.
  • Mentor and train sales team members.
  • Recruit and hire top performers.
  • Listen in and be present to provide feedback to sales teams on proper sales techniques and closes.
Qualifications
  • BA or BS degree in related field
  • 2+ years of leadership experience in a sales management role.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience in developing and training new sales representatives
  • Must be proficient with MS Office Tools, NetSuite, and able to type at least 40 wpm.

Summary/Objective

Fast paced, technology start-up seeks a motivated and detail oriented EE to help with embedded product development. A suitable candidate is needed immediately.

Monnit is a leader in the design and manufacture of turnkey, self-installing, low cost wireless sensor solutions targeted at the commercial, industrial and consumer markets. Monnit's sensing solutions are designed to be easily installed and used by anyone wanting to remotely monitor information and activities, including access, presence of water, luminosity, temperature, humidity, and vibration in or around structures, machinery, and various environments.

Job Description/Tasks:

Assist the engineering team by developing, testing and troubleshooting current and future products. The areas includes testing firmware for new products and applications, seeing that the sensors behave as expected as well as assist in characterization of new products. The engineer will need to troubleshoot problems and contribute ideas for problem resolutions and enhancements. Another area includes testing our monitoring software GUI for correct behavior and user functionality. The final area includes introductory design work in both hardware and firmware design for actual products. This is a significant opportunity for engineers looking to broaden their scope of skills. Other additional engineering tasks as needed may be requested.

Requirements:
Monnit Product Development requires the following areas of expertise:
  • EE Degree with 2-5 years minimum experience.
  • Firmware: Experience in design of C based coding is required. Other languages including Python, C#, Java, or DOS/Linux scripting is also preferred but not required.
  • Hardware: creation of logical schematic capture, module creation, and hardware layout with Kicad Software a bonus

Summary/Objective

Ready to join the industry leader in wireless-sensing solutions company focused on the Internet of Things (IoT) as a Monnit Sales Representative?! We are looking for self-starters with a desire to assist customers in solving their problems with Monnit solutions. Sales Reps are responsible for direct business-to-business sales and presents to all levels of influencers (C Suite to purchasing) and must be able to tailor communication and presentation approaches depending on the audience.


Job Responsibilities
  • Gain a mastery of Monnit’s growing product lines of sensors, gateways and software and intelligently discuss the products in a consultative manner.
  • Understand customer goals and challenges and then establish Monnit’s products as the best solution available.
  • Pipeline management is a must for this position. Manage a large pipeline, including identifying top accounts, promising/developing accounts, and providing monthly, quarterly and annual projections.
  • Develop, enhance, or refine sales pitches by vertical market based on information discovered during sales calls.
  • Share with other team members information gleaned during the sales process that they can leverage as well with their accounts to achieve success.
  • Consistently reach and exceed monthly sales goals.
  • Responsible for customer follow-up
  • Create personal marketing plan
  • Use excellent oral communication and best practices in customer service when interacting with customers

Skills/Qualifications
  • Fluent in English and possess strong communication skills, as liaison with clients and colleagues is a large focus of the job
  • Proficiency in typing at least 30WPM is required (you will be required to take a typing test)
  • Have an aptitude for technical products
  • Organized and possess a high level of administration ability
  • Previous prospecting and appointment setting skills expected
  • Provide exceptional customer service
