Our Solder Technicians are responsible for hand soldering printed circuit board components, cable connectors and electric terminals. You must be able demonstrate the ability to perform both surface mount and thru-hole soldering techniques, and be familiar with PCB components. You will gain a mastery of Monnit’s growing product lines of sensors and gateways.

Most importantly, your job will be to follow detailed assembly instructions, processes, and procedures to correctly assemble Monnit’s devices. You will need to read and comprehend procedures written in English, and be able to work independently, and importantly, demonstrate integrity, honesty, and punctuality.

Job Summary

As Production Manager, you will Manage and evaluate resources to ensure orders are fulfilled within customer quality, lead-time and on-time delivery standards – Create plans to ensure optimum staffing levels. You will Establish workflow policies that enhance speed and efficiency without compromising product quality or integrity. You will also analyze production process and recommend/implement process improvements. You can look for ways to reduce expenses and increase productivity across all product lines. You will work with team leads to resolve production-related challenges and effectively communicate problems or obstacles.

Most importantly, you will Manage a workforce of 30+ employees. You will have the opportunity to ensure all employees follow industry standard health and safety guidelines, and provide leadership, motivation, support and guidance to them. You will train and educate production staff on proper manufacturing methods (soldering, cable building, hand tools, ESD handling, etc.). You will also actively participate in the implementation of ISO9001:2015 certification, maintain the manufacturing area to be 5S compliant. You will participate in establishing processes and procedures to minimize manufacturing variances to specifications.

Production Manager Qualifications and Skills

  • 5+ years’ experience in manufacturing operations (preferably in an electronics environment)
  • 3+ years’ experience in a supervisory and/or lead capacity
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Proven track record of successfully training employees in productivity and safety
  • Working knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations
  • Ability to coach and mentor employees on a one-on-one basis as well as in a group setting
  • Experience in an ISO9001 or AS9100 certified manufacturing environment is preferred

What Will You Sell?

Sure, you’re selling our sensors that connect many things like restaurant or laboratory freezers, factory machines, grow house power use, and so many more things to the IoT.

Our Technical Support Team works directly with company’s direct customers and various partners (OEM, VAR, SI). You will respond to telephone inquiries of a basic technical nature supporting the company's wireless hardware and software products. Many support calls are routine but some may require deviation from traditional answers. You will analyze both routine and non-routine problems with wireless equipment, software applications, and network performance to identify problem root cause and recommend corrective action.

Most importantly, your job will be to explain and support the features of our software. You will get to handle situations which require adaptation of response or research according to unique customer situations and recommend solutions to customer questions which may require follow-up or escalation to a higher level of expertise. You will maintain logs of problems so recurring problems can be reported to both hardware and software engineering departments, update customer accounts. We’re looking for a Technical Support Associate who is a skilled communicator and will work to develop his/her resources to be their best.

Skills/Qualifications

  • Have a high level of knowledge working with computers, routers, switches and cellular network
  • Possess a good understanding of networking and internet addressing.

You will perform technical tasks based on detailed written or verbal instructions and utilize a limited variety of microelectronic, electronic, mechanical, or electromechanical equipment. Most importantly, your job will be to apply technical expertise in the evaluation, development, maintenance and use of products, devices, tests, or procedures under constantly changing conditions where some ingenuity and judgment are required. What Will You Do?

Our marketing department is looking for a Web Designer / CSS Developer. It’s a hybrid design/development position.

Ideally, we’re looking for someone who has an eye for design, understands the UX process, can code HTML and CSS, develop with Bootstrap, and has a working knowledge of JavaScript.

We need you to mock up Adobe XD/Photoshop prototypes and write front-end code utilizing Bootstrap for responsive web pages. You must work within our brand guidelines and standards to ensure the online content supports accomplishing the overall strategic plan. This position requires strong interpersonal, communication, and collaborative skills.

Must-Have Front-End Development Skills
  • HTML

  • Bootstrap 4/5 experience
