As an Accounting Manager, you will supervise, monitor and evaluate all day-to-day accounting activities. In addition, you will be establishing financial status by developing and implementing systems for collecting, analyzing, verifying and reporting financial information.


Accounting Manager duties and responsibilities
  • Plan, implement and oversee overall accounting strategy
  • Oversee accounting daily operations
  • Take responsibility for accounts payable/receivable, cash receipts, general ledger, payroll and utilities, treasury, budgeting, cash forecasting, revenue and expenditure variance analysis, capital assets reconciliations, trust account statement reconciliations, check runs, fixed asset activity, debt activity etc

Fast paced, technology start-up seeks a motivated and detail oriented EE to help with embedded product development. A suitable candidate is needed immediately.

Monnit is a leader in the design and manufacture of turnkey, self-installing, low cost wireless sensor solutions targeted at the commercial, industrial and consumer markets. Monnit's sensing solutions are designed to be easily installed and used by anyone wanting to remotely monitor information and activities, including access, presence of water, luminosity, temperature, humidity, and vibration in or around structures, machinery, and various environments.

Job Description/Tasks:

Assist the engineering team by developing, testing and troubleshooting current and future products. The areas includes testing firmware for new products and applications, seeing that the sensors behave as expected as well as assist in characterization of new products. The engineer will need to troubleshoot problems and contribute ideas for problem resolutions and enhancements. Another area includes testing our monitoring software GUI for correct behavior and user functionality. The final area includes introductory design work in both hardware and firmware design for actual products. This is a significant opportunity for engineers looking to broaden their scope of skills. Other additional engineering tasks as needed may be requested.

Requirements:
Monnit Product Development requires the following areas of expertise:
  • EE Degree with 2-5 years minimum experience.
  • Firmware: Experience in design of C based coding is required. Other languages including Python, C#, Java, or DOS/Linux scripting is also preferred but not required.
  • Hardware: creation of logical schematic capture, module creation, and hardware layout with Kicad Software a bonus

Summary/Objective

We are looking for self-starters with a desire to assist customers in solving their problems with Monnit solutions. Sales Reps are responsible for direct business-to-business sales and presents to all levels of influencers (C Suite to purchasing) and must be able to tailor communication and presentation approaches depending on the audience.


Job Responsibilities
  • Gain a mastery of Monnit’s growing product lines of sensors, gateways and software and intelligently discuss the products in a consultative manner.
  • Understand customer goals and challenges and then establish Monnit’s products as the best solution available.
  • Pipeline management is a must for this position. Manage a large pipeline, including identifying top accounts, promising/developing accounts, and providing monthly, quarterly and annual projections.
  • Develop, enhance, or refine sales pitches by vertical market based on information discovered during sales calls.
  • Share with other team members information gleaned during the sales process that they can leverage as well with their accounts to achieve success.
  • Consistently reach and exceed monthly sales goals.

Skills/Qualifications

Summary/Objective

The technical support associate responds to telephone, written, or Internet-based inquiries of both basic and complex technical nature supporting the company's wireless hardware and software products. Associate will be working directly with company’s direct customers and various partners (OEM, VAR, SI). Analyzes both routine and non-routine problems with wireless equipment, software applications, and network performance to identify problem root cause and recommend corrective action.

Many support calls are routine but some may require deviation from traditional answers. Recommends solutions to customer questions which may require follow-up or escalation to a higher level of expertise. Handles situations which require adaptation of response or research according to unique customer situations. May orient, train, and support other Monnit employees. Maintains log of problems so recurring problems can be reported to both hardware and software engineering departments.



Job Responsibilities:
  • Take support calls, online chats from customers (often times multi-tasking)
  • Responding to customer questions via email and ticketing system
  • Following trouble shooting steps with customers to determine issues
  • Updating customer accounts
  • Explaining and support features about software
  • Troubleshooting network issues as it pertains to specific Monnit products
  • Escalating customer’s issues to engineering as needed
  • Write support articles as required


Skills/Qualifications
  • Maintain a clean, courteous and professional demeanor
  • Physically able to sit long hours in front of a computer taking phone calls
  • Have great communication skills both written and verbal, and can read and write the English language well
  • Have a high level of knowledge working with computers, routers, switches and cellular network

Job Description


FULL-TIME FARM HAND / HANDY MAN NEEDED for Extended Summer Season (May-September). KAYSVILLE, UT – Small farm in need of up-to-full time assistance (30-40 hours/week). Experience required with farming, facility and equipment maintenance, livestock care and maintenance. Position starts at $14.50/hour with a raise to $15/hour after 30-day satisfactory trial period. Will have the opportunity for further raises depending on performance and commitment. Work hours are flexible and set upon mutual agreement. Work hours may vary with possible evening, weekend, or holiday work required depending on the season and associated work duties.

Responsibilities

Position will require care of rental property (general repair and maintenance) including painting, construction projects (deck, fencing, shed); surrounding farm land and farm facilities including shop and equipment, large field and smaller pastures care (watering, fertilizing, cutting, baling and hauling/stacking), fence work, tree removal, ditch maintenance and weed management. Full care of cattle and horses. Some travel may be required as needed for animal, equipment or facility errands.

Qualifications

Experience working within a livestock ranch/farm environment is a must. Candidate must be 18 years old or older, able to pass a background check and drug screening, lift over 50+ lbs. regularly and must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Experience operating and maintaining various types of equipment and machinery, i.e. trucks, mowers, tractors, trailers, pumps, bailers, swather, etc. is required. Must be able to work under pressure, independently and make good decisions based on experience and judgment. Those applying should be able to take direction and work with farm owner. Retired or seniors encouraged to apply. No smoking (including E-cigarettes) at job sites.
