Wireless Accelerometers
Description:

The ALTA Wireless Advanced Vibration Meter uses an accelerometer to measure vibration and frequency on 3 axes. The sensor reports vibration (acceleration, velocity, displacement, or acceleration peak), frequency (Hz/RPM), and crest factor on all three axes. It also reports duty cycle (how much of the report interval that vibration was present), and temperature.


Wireless Voltage Meters

Monnit wireless voltage meters are capable of measuring the voltage off another device, battery, or sensor. This sensor is capable of measuring voltage up to 5 VDC by connecting the leads on the sensor to the positive and ground terminals of the device being measured.

Wireless AC Current Meters
Description:

Monnit wireless AC Current Meters measure the RMS current of an alternating current (AC) system using a current transformer (CT) that wraps around the "hot" wire of a two wire (hot, common, ground(optional)) power system. The sensor reports Minimum RMS current, maximum RMS current, average RMS current, and amp hours to the iMonnit system. The iMonnit system is capable of generating watt hour or kilowatt hour readings as well.

Wireless Voltage Detection - 500 VAC
Description:

The AC Voltage Detection Sensor notifies of the presence or absence of electricity. It is intended for use on devices using supply power from 24 - 500 VAC. Not intended for voltages higher than 500 VAC and also not intended for use with DC sources. Perfect for HVAC systems, sprinkler systems, sump pumps and any other type of electrical appliance monitoring. This sensor triggers on the state change from presence to absence of voltage and vice versa. The data is displayed as either "No Voltage" or "Voltage Detected".


Wireless Resistance Sensors
Description: The ALTA Wireless Resistance Sensor reads the resistance across any resistive load and reports back the measured resistance. The resistance sensor leads are meant to connect to passive devices only, connecting the sensor leads to any voltage or power source that may damage the sensor. It is programmed to sleep for a user-given time interval (heartbeat) and then wake up, convert the analog data, mathematically compute the resistance, and transmit the data to the gateway, where it is then logged into the cloud service. The user can configure defined thresholds and have the system alert on threshold breaches.  


Wireless mA Current Meters
Description:

Monnit wireless 0-20mA current meters are capable of measuring the current off another device or sensor, up to 20mA (DC), by connecting the leads of the sensor to the positive and ground terminals of the device being measured. Examples of interfacing devices include, but are not limited to: Current transducers (CTs) with outputs up to 20 mA, pH sensor, dissolved oxygen sensor, pressure sensor, magnetic flow meters, velocity or acceleration sensors, industrial vibration sensors, industrial accelerometers, any kind of sensor that specifies the output is in (mA) within the range of 0 – 20.

Wireless Pressure Meters
Description:

Monnit wireless pressure meters measure pressure and transmit the pressure measurement to iMonnit. Alta Wireless Vehicle Detect-Counter Sensor
Description:

The Monnit wireless vehicle detect/counter sensor can be deployed to detect the presence of a vehicle or count oncoming traffic utilizing a 9 ft. pneumatic tube. Deployment is easy with the included hose anchor and mounting spikes. Simply turn the unit on with the included magnet, roll the hose out where you wish to record traffic data and pound the spikes into the asphalt. In software, select “Counting” or “Detecting” and begin recording data..
