Wireless Open-Closed Sensors

Proactively prevent spoilage, damage, or theft

These popular ALTA® Wireless Open-Closed Sensors remotely monitor door or window statuses. Get an alert via text, email, or call if something’s been left ajar or has been accessed when it shouldn’t be.

An elegantly simple solution

Monnit’s sensor uses an external magnetic switch and trigger magnet to detect status—when the magnets meet, a door or window is closed. The sensor can also be configured via iMonnit software to only send notifications during specific dayparts (such as after-hours). Data also sheds light on access patterns—a boon for the foodservice, healthcare, and hospitality sectors.

Ready for restaurant walk-ins, vaccine fridges, retail, and more, Monnit’s Open-Closed Sensors are available sensor types include: ultra-compact, Wi-Fi-enabled, Power over Ethernet (PoE), low-profile enterprise-grade, or industrial-grade devices. Monnit also offers a variety of options to tailor these sensors to your needs.

Add an ounce of prevention to your business or facility with one of the wireless door sensors below.
