Due to the ongoing global supply chain delays on products and components, manufacturers like Monnit see increasing lead times on parts critical to sustaining reliable delivery time frames.
Because of this, Monnit’s Power over Ethernet line of Sensors is experiencing longer than normal lead times with the potential in mid-2022 of putting the products on hold until things normalize.
It’s important as a user of Monnit’s PoE•X Sensors to contact your sales representative and work with them on creating a projection of product needs through the end of 2022. As it currently stands, Monnit may have a challenge filling everyone’s demand. Still, with proper forecasting, there may be a way to allocate products properly so that no one has unfulfilled orders.
