wireless 150 Amp three-phase current meter

ALTA 150 Amp Three-Phase Current Meter

Deploy a drop-in machine defense plan.

Reducing overhead and ensuring uptime shouldn’t be an uphill battle—arm your facility with the Monnit ALTA® Wireless 150 Amp Three-Phase Current Meter. Preempt failure or surprise energy expenses by knowing which machine is suddenly drawing more current or which of your buildings is experiencing power supply issues.

Root Mean Square (RMS) Reconnaissance

Within 15 minutes, you can install the ALTA 150 Amp Three-Phase Current Meter to capture: minimum, maximum, and average RMS current, duty cycle for each phase, and the combined amp hours of all three phases. Watt- or kilowatt-hours can also be generated based on user-specified RMS voltage.

  • This current meter has three 150 amp current transformers that wrap around the wires of a three-phase current system without wiring or a direct power connection.

Instant Intel from the Factory, Building, or Field

If the sensor detects power draws outside of your specified thresholds, you, or designated personnel, are alerted via text, email, or call.

With this Monnit IoT device, you can:

  • Identify the power-usage patterns of a machine or trends across multiple machines in a manufacturing plant.
  • Pinpoint if there’s an issue with a particular phase of your facility's power.
  • Ensure business continuity by planning for eventual manufacturing equipment burnout or production power supply issues.

Which Sensor is Right For Me?

  • Enterprise AA-battery powered: Our most popular type is ideal for typical commercial and enterprise environments, such as server rooms. A 2,000+ ft. through 18+ walls wireless range when connected to an ALTA XL® Gateway readily covers most facilities.
  • CC-battery powered: Compact sensor is great for space-restricted areas such as control cabinets or cold storage.
  • Industrial: Sensor's weatherproof, NEMA-rated enclosure withstands demanding indoor/outdoor use, e.g., warehouses and production facilities.
  • PoE•X: Power over Ethernet sensors integrate with a building's PoE network; it can also be used with a standard Ethernet infrastructure & powered via an optional AC adapter.
  • MoWi: This discreet sensor uses your own Wi-Fi for networking and data transmission—popular for smaller businesses and facilities.
