Monnit’s Wireless Voltage Detection sensor interfaces with a device or system to detect voltages to 500 VAC. If the sensor does (or doesn’t) detect voltage during measurement, you’ll be alerted via text, email, or call. Step in before an unplanned event, such as a machine stoppage, impacts the bottom line.

Voltage monitoring made easy

This sensor allows you to remotely monitor potential differences (voltage) between two electrical points. If voltage deviates from your pre-set limits, you’re alerted by email, text, or call.

Within 15 minutes, Monnit’s wireless volt sensors install to the power and ground of a source up to 5 VDC. This simplicity makes it ideal for capturing energy status data from common industrial sensors, batteries, and other low-powered machinery.

Replacement Sensor Probes

The ALTA^® Wireless Thermocouple Sensor brings the power of remote monitoring and automated data collection to high-temperature processes. The ALTA Wireless Soil Moisture Sensor does the same for agriculture and water conservation. But they can’t do it alone.

Our ALTA Thermocouple Sensor relies on a needle-style K-Type Quick Connect Probe to measure hot, dry, wet, or damp environments like ovens, furnaces, boilers, food production, turbines, and more. The Soil Moisture Probe is essential for sensing soil conditions and delivering timely data from the field or greenhouse.

Thermocouple Probe

The 6-inch stainless steel K-Type Quick Connect Probe provides a temperature measurement range of -50°C to 260°C (-148°F to 500°F) and connects to a waterproof cable attached to the ALTA Thermocouple Sensor.

Soil Moisture Probe

The resistive granular matrix moisture element and a thermistor-based temperature element combine to measure soil water tension (matric potential) and temperature in different soil types. The moisture element works similarly to a plant’s root by measuring water tension in its hydrophilic fabric-covered matrix material.
