PoE power adapter
PoE Splitters and Power Adapters

Connect to the IoT with PoE

PoE Splitter

If you have a Monnit Ethernet Gateway that doesn’t support Power over Ethernet (PoE), the PoE Splitter allows you to use an existing PoE line to power and communicate with the gateway. The PoE Splitter works by simply separating the power from the data and feeding it to a different input that a non-PoE-enabled device like a gateway can use.

PoE Power Adapter

If your building or facility doesn’t have PoE infrastructure, you need this PoE Power Adapter to run your Monnit PoE•X Sensors. It’s easy to inject power into an Ethernet cable with our PoE Power Adapter. Deploy and power up PoE•X Sensors near or on virtually any asset that you need to give you data through a single PoE cable.

Learn more about these two PoE accessories below.

Turnkey power measurement & monitoring

Monnit’s Wireless Voltage Meters and Voltage Detect Sensors remotely monitor machine or system power status

Instant alerts, instant action
If a monitored value rises or falls beyond user-set thresholds, an alert is sent via text, email, or call. Know when essential appliances are operative (helpful for remote locations or decentralized operations). Be sure that a is pump active ahead of a storm.

How voltage meters work

Monnit’s 0–200 VDC or 0–500 VAC sensors measure the voltage between two electrical points, such as batteries or other sensors; measured voltage is reported.

How voltage detect sensors work

The 0–200 VDC and 0–500 VAC devices are triggered by electricity’s presence or absence in batteries or other sources, such as solar equipment.

Find the right voltage sensor below to keep machines running and your business moving forward.

150 Amp Three-Phase Current Meter
150 Amp Three-Phase Current Meter

Deploy a drop-in machine defense plan.

Reducing overhead and ensuring uptime shouldn’t be an uphill battle—arm your facility with the Monnit ALTA® Wireless 150 Amp Three-Phase Current Meter. Preempt failure or surprise energy expenses by knowing which machine is suddenly drawing more current or which of your buildings is experiencing power supply issues.

Root Mean Square (RMS) Reconnaissance

Within 15 minutes, you can install the ALTA 150 Amp Three-Phase Current Meter to capture minimum, maximum, and average RMS current, the duty cycle for each phase, and the combined amp hours of all three phases. Watt- or kilowatt-hours can also be generated based on user-specified RMS voltage. This current meter has:

  • Three 150-amp current transformers (CTs) that clip around the wires of a three-phase current system without wiring or a direct power connection.
  • Detachable leads with M12 5-pin connectors, which are ideal for easily installing the CTs in an electrical panel.

Instant Intel from the Factory, Building, or Field

If the meter detects power draws outside your specified thresholds, you or the designated personnel are alerted via text, email, or call.

With this Monnit IoT device, you can:

  • Identify the power-usage patterns of a machine or trends across multiple machines in a manufacturing plant.
  • Pinpoint if there's an issue with a particular phase of your facility's power.
  • Ensure business continuity by planning for eventual manufacturing equipment burnout or production power supply issues.

Review the specs below and upgrade to an ALTA Wireless 150 Amp Three-Phase Current Meter.

WARNING: This ALTA AC Current Meter is only for monitoring AC voltage. Do Not Use with DC voltage.
