The ALTA® Wireless Sensor Adapter lets ALTA Wireless Sensors communicate with your local or online wireless sensor monitoring system by connecting to a PC or third-party IoT gateway via a USB connection.

Plug into a PC

If an on-site PC has an active Internet connection, it’s simple to connect with iMonnit Sensor Management and Monitoring Software online and install the free ALTA Wireless Sensor Adapter gateway application. This combination allows you to pass sensor data to the online system.

With the online iMonnit software, you can easily configure your network, view collected sensor data, and set alarms through SMS or email, all from any web-enabled browser. The iMonnit online system allows complete configuration and customization at a sensor, local, or client-wide network level. Use your ALTA Sensors locally to collect and store sensor data on your PC with iMonnit Express. You can export sensor data in a CSV format spreadsheet, and iMonnit Express can send SMS text and email alerts if the host computer has an active Internet connection.

The ALTA Wireless Sensor Adapter is specifically designed to respond to the increasing market need for global technology that accommodates several vertical M2M application segments and remote wireless sensor management solutions. PoE Splitter

Power over Ethernet Power for Non-PoE-Enabled Devices

The PoE Splitter is an economical and practical way to run a remote non-PoE-enabled Monnit Ethernet Gateway with a PoE line, upgrading the gateway to PoE. Its two output cables separate the power and data from a PoE line to deliver both simultaneously.

Using the PoE Splitter to connect a Monnit Ethernet Gateway allows it to pull energy from the network and convert it into low-voltage ranges on demand. The PoE Splitter helps you save money by letting IoT professionals and smart building experts combine legacy devices and networks with more modern, efficient PoE networking components. Monnit Mine

Monnit Mine™ is an open software platform that provides the ability to integrate Monnit wireless sensors and gateways with your own software system. Monnit wireless gateways can be unlocked, allowing them to be directed to a custom host or IP address, where an installation of Monnit Mine works as a translation application between Monnit wireless sensors networks and existing or custom software applications.

PoE Splitter

If you have a Monnit Ethernet Gateway that doesn’t support Power over Ethernet (PoE), the PoE Splitter allows you to use an existing PoE line to power and communicate with the gateway. The PoE Splitter works by simply separating the power from the data and feeding it to a different input that a non-PoE-enabled device like a gateway can use.

PoE Power Adapter

If your building or facility doesn’t have PoE infrastructure, you need this PoE Power Adapter to run your Monnit PoE•X Sensors. It’s easy to inject power into an Ethernet cable with our PoE Power Adapter. Gateway Accessories
